One of the things I would like to be brought to the surface is this rumbling of a North American Union. I never really believed in it until I started studying the history of the formation of the European Union. The people of these countries had no say in the formation of this "government." And with today's Congress, it seems no one on the hill is listening to their constituents. The phrase, "no taxation with out representation," is beginning to ring true again because no one is listening to us. Virgina is going to experience an earthquake soon because of our founding fathers rolling in their graves.

Please tell me this is all a farce and I am worried about nothing or does American need to brace for the abolishment of its integrity.

John, the prospects of a “North American Union” and the “Amero” are not things I look forward to. I like that the United States is being proactive about our geopolitical situation and is engaging in talks with Mexico and Canada, but I do not like that the opinions of the American people are being neglected during this process. I have spoken to many people and few if any seem to be supportive of the Trans-Texas Corridor and other aspects of the SPP. I am all for joint security arrangements on the border, cooperative training, and information sharing… but I am not supportive of taking people’s property to build a super highway which the people of Texas are not convinced we need in the first place or for allowing trucks from Mexico to enter into the United States without inspection and without the same regulations U.S. trucks must adhere to. There are major security and economic factors at play here, yet the issues hardly make the news. The government is suppose to work on behalf of the people, but with the SPP it seems that they are working behind the backs of the people. It is time to replace those in Washington who are not listening to their constituents!
